What we do
HCS delivers stable, evidence-based residential care for children and young people who cannot safely remain at home, from emergency placements through to long-term arrangements until they turn 18.

Our approach
Every placement at HCS is guided by our Model of Care, developed in 2021 in line with the Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy. It brings together evidence-based practice and the applied knowledge of our care teams to support young people as they heal from trauma and move towards stability.
We work in small, stable, structured teams that give young people the consistency and calm they need, and we respond to challenging behaviour by understanding its causes rather than reacting to it.
